What do you use to bathe your baby? Are the Aveeno products good? I was hoping to choose something that is easy to find in stores and doesnt need to be ordered online.
We use the Burt's Bees Baby Bath. I know it's probably not THE best eco-friendly choice, but it's a better option, easy to find and I love the smell soooooooo much - it's that "baby" smell to me now:)
We use california baby - I found it at Target. It works fine as far as I can tell but DH doesn't like the picture of the little girl on the front of the bottle, hehe.
We used the Aveeno Soothing Relief Creamy Wash for a few months but it really didn't help DS's eczema at all so we switched to California Baby and haven't looked back. We use the Super Sensitive so it's entirely fragrance free, but it's great for his skin & gets him clean.
Just in the last 5 weeks we've started also using MethodBaby Squeaky Green shampoo for his hair and that does have a scent (like a coconut marshmallow smell) and it doesn't seem to have caused any skin problems so that's good.
We like Burts Bees (LOVE the smell) or Method (that's my new favorite - the smell is toasted mallow - my baby smells like a yummy marshmallow!!) - you can find the Method Baby stuff at Target.
If you buy aveeno, don't get the scented. It smells like a perfumed adult ... its horrible. Plus, it has parabens I think.
Also, if you want to order some, I ordered from etsy seller https://joyfulgirlnatural.etsy.com recently and we got some foaming baby wash and its excellent. Her stuff is all natural with no bad products, and I'm really impressed.
got aveeno for a gift and it's okay - i usually just squirt it in the bath to make a few bubbles
bought california baby and i really like it. smell is mild and it's tear free. i use it to wash baby's body and hair.
got burts baby shampoo bar and body bar for a gift and they smell really good. i just threw them away tho b/c the shampoo bar isn't tear free and no matter how hard i try not to get h2o in ds's eyes when rinsing i've hit his eyes twice. no good for crying baby esp when there are tear free options out there

We have used the Aveeno products before and, while they aren't the most EF, they're pretty good. The unscented stuff is paraben and phthalate free.
We currently use Dr. Bronner's Baby Mild.
