I just found a smokin' deal ($100!) on an excellent condition Indie Twin. I was initially interested in a BOB (what we have now), because we use it for jogging. Would the Indie Twin work as a jogging stroller, or no?
I really looked into the indie twin for a double, and I had read a review where they lady had a bob single and the indie twin and whe liked the indie better than her bob and was thinking about getting an indie single to replace the bob...however, I decided to do the city select instead of a side by side because Im not using it for jogging, so I dont have any personal experience. 100 bucks is a killer deal, Im pretty sure you could get your money back out of it if you decide you dont like it.
I love my Bumbleride Twin! I don't run with it, but I do know the wheels lock in the front for running (just one little button, very easy). It is a really nice stroller and where on earth did you find it for $100! Mine was $685!!!
Craigslist! They are moving unexpectedly and selling a bunch of stuff super cheap to get rid of it faster. Now that I know it can be used for jogging, I just hope I didn't miss out on it!!! AHHH
I think it probably depends on how often you plan to run with it, how far, and over what terrain. I'm sure it can be used for light jogs, but if you're going to be running races, or even regularly, you might want to invest in the BOB. This coming from someone who loves her Indie Twin almost as much as she loves the babies that ride in it.
Holycrap, I hope you got it. That's a steal for a double. We almost bought one used as a spare at my parents' house, and we were going to pay $300 for it.
Ditto the pp- the front wheels lock. I've done light jogging with mine and I like it.

We have a single Bumbleride and I definitely wouldn't classify it as a true jogging stroller. If you were on a nice, flat, smooth bike path, you could probably get away with it because you can lock the front wheel. However, it's not the Bob and if you are really into running, I wouldn't get the Bumbleride as your only stroller.
Re: If you love your Bumbleride ... question
def grab it. Bumblerides are $$$- BUT, the resale value = not as awesome as you'd think.
i love our 2010 Flyer (i don't jog- so no need for the indie) & we dished out $400 for it.
i'm trying to sell it now (it's in MINT condition) and $100 is the highest offer i've gotten. booo.
