Anyone ever been to a Baby Gear class?

I got an e-mail about one in Philly.  I'm thinking about going, but wondering if its worth the $42 for a ticket.  Yes there are goody bags and prizes, but how good are those goody bags?  Smile

    Nope.  But I will tell you if you have the time to go on these boards and do research on Amazon and BRU, and are not afraid to ask strangers for advice, you will get tons of ideas on what gear you need.  Seriously, I asked just about every one I saw out with a baby if they liked their car seat, stroller, etc... and asked other moms at Buy Buy Baby when I went there to look around.

    Thanks!  I definitely plan on doing my research.  I just thought this might be a fun way to start out.  But now I'm thinking I'll just skip it and save the $ since I can't find anyone who's been to one.
