Drool Baby Expo - too much $?

Drool Baby Expo - May 31st at Seaport Hotel

I want to go, I think but the tickets seem sort of outrageously expensive. Any thoughts? Any of you planning on going?

Yeah I noticed they said that the gift bag is worth more than the cost of the tickets. I'm just skeptical that it will be full of things like "get $20 off a $100 purchase" coupons - so that you have to spend money for it to actually be worth anything.  I just feel a bit manipulated by shopping events that require you to pay to shop.  I guess since this is the first time they're doing this though, it will be hard to determine until after whether it is worth it or not.

Totally worth it!! There will be over $5000 raffle prizes, and the swag bags are from a trusted source-  they will be over flowing

 I wish it wasnt just 1 night. I would like to go but dont know if I want to spend that when it seems like its just a big advertisement. I am sure it will be great though.

There is so much gear out there, that a baby expo is a perfect way to learn about it - and looking at the venders list this is all fantastic brands - nothing you wouldn't want.  If I were you I would take the plunge - with all the brands plus swag bags and raffles - you have nothing to lose but admission cost - which you will gain back with a fun night out and swag bags filled with things which you can use with the baby

Yeah.. I was thinking this too and hoping we might get some insider info - like a refute of my concern about swag being things like coupons you have to spend money to use... haha.

I'm really excited to get to go to this. I won a VIP ticket from BigCityMoms. I would never have been able to go otherwise!!

I thought it was too much money so I didn't go. I heard the swag bag was good if you were preggo but as I have a 1 year old now, not that important.
