Hi there. I had my first Level 2 or also known as anatomy scan. The baby won't face the right direction they scheduled a second look 2 weeks later. & still same. I feel the baby moving at certain times. None of which are their office hours so I could schedule an appointment for. For both scans the baby is facing my back & down. This week they told me to go to a pediatric cardiologist. I know they're not able to tell you what they "think" because of law suit issues, but I'm very nervous awaiting my cardiologist appointment and just wanted to know if anyone else had these same issues? & was everything alright or what? Thank you for your replies.
Re: Health concerns @ 22weeks.
Mine stayed in the same position (transverse and facing away) for 3 months! 3 ultrasounds! They had the same issue seeing all of her heart- but eventually she flipped around and they got all the views they needed. Try not to get too stressed about it, babies can be very stubborn but I'm sure LO will flip around eventually and they'll get all the views and pics they need.
Good luck!!

I just had my second scan because she won't roll and allow the tech to see her back. In the four weeks between scans, she completely flipped over from her head on the left side to the right and rolled forward. The LO doesn't need to be moving at the time the scan is done, the hope is that LOs will have rearranged themselves in the time between scans and would be hanging out in a more convenient area.
have you tried eating something really sugary before the test? to get baby jumping around..., like a slurpee and some candy or something like that?
just a thought... best of luck at your appt!
