Had my not-so-little guy yesterday

James Thomas was born last night at 9:27pm, just hours before his due date, weighing in at 10lbs even and 21.45" long. I was in labor for close to 23 hours and remarkably, only pushed for 10 minutes! Everyone though he'd be in the 8's or 9's, but when the scale hit 10, there were a few exclamations of "Holy Sh*t!" in the room. He had some bruising on his face because he was just so big and came so fast, but that should clear up in a few weeks.

He's nursing like a champ and his big sister is already in love So are his Mommy & Daddy!

Congrats- he's so cute! Gives me hope that you pushed out a 10lber- I'm getting really nervous about needing a c-section he's getting so big.

It's good to know that it can be done. My little one is BIG and I worry about needing a c section to get her out. Your cute little 10 pounder gives me hope! Congratulations!!!
