If $$$ isn't an issue, I would like the Bumbleride Indie Twin or the BOB jogging stroller. I have the Baby Trend Expedition double jogger--it's not the top of the line BUT it gets the job done (I jog or walk and even do 5Ks with this stroller). It's affordable (less than $200) and easy maintenance.
I have the BJ City Select and LOVE it- if i could only have one stroller, this would be the one... it's such a great ride, nice and "small" for a double when dealing with shopping inside, etc.... and great features (huge sun shades, big storage, hand break that i LOVE)
If I was going to get a SBS I'd either get the City Elite or the Bumbleride. I have a valco but only b/c i needed the 3rd seat... and now that i don't need that i'm considering selling it and getting a bumbleride- i saw one today and loved it- the storage is huge for a SBS and really accessible- which is one of the things I don't like about the valco (and many other SBS's... often have a bar in the way of storage, etc)
I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
I just don't like that one of the boys have to sit in the back and not able to see whats going on...
So it sounds like you want a SBS - so are you thinking about the city mini then?
It's a great stroller - BUT it's not made for rough terrain or jogging. Just make sure you are ok with that.
Also, be sure to try out a City Mini before you buy - they have singles at BRU. The stroller was WAY too short for me - I kicked the rear axel every time I took a step. No way I could stand that! I am REALLY tall, though, so this probably isn't a problem for most people.
Saving money while raising more kids than you bargained for!
I picked up an almost new Bumbleride Indie Twin on craigslist and I love it! Super smooth ride, and easy to navigate. It also fits through all standard doorways.

Hmm-- the reason I love our City Mini is because the handlebar is so tall. I must be really short, lol!

Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
I have a City Mini Double and I'm in love. Granted my twins are only 8 weeks old, but so far we love it. Its recommended for 6+ months, but I read that you can put a headrest (like out of a car seat) in it and recline it all the way back until they have better head control. We've been on a couple walks with it and love how it glides. I'm excited to use it out and about when they get a little bigger!
I don't think it was very expensive (it was a gift from my mom). I think they run about $429. In twin stroller world, thats pretty good...from what I've seen anyway.
Re: Don't like our Stroller
What about it do you not like?
Which baby jogger are you looking at? They are pretty different. I have a Bumbleride and we love it.

Sorry about that - I went back and edited my response...
So what is it that you don't like about it?
