Cloth Diapering

washing organic/natural cloth w/clothes, sheets, etc

I received quite a bit of organic clothing, sheets, blankets, etc., for my shower and was wondering if it's okay to wash them once along with a bunch of natural/organic CD that need to be prepped. I know the CD need to be washed several times before use, so I thought combining one load could be helpful if that's okay.

I wouldn't. Organic clothing has generally been processed to remove oils. Organic diapers haven't, in order to retain absorbancy. Washing them together will cause the oils from the diapers to deposit on the clothes.

    Makes sense - thanks!
