Because of all the comments on here of the inane questions that MoM's get, I saved face the other day!

I was in Panera and there was a lady with two kids who looked EXACTLY the same age!! I simply said "Oh wow, they are so cute! How old are they?" She replied that they were both 3. I still didn't want to ask though, so I said "Oh, so is my son, he was February." I didn't really ask or say anything else, we just started chatting about names, etc etc. Then all of a sudden she says that they're 4 days apart... and the man with her (older, but not out of the question that they *could* be together) says "But only one is mine!"

Turns out the boy is actually the woman's BROTHER, and the man who was there is her FATHER. So her daughter and brother are days apart in age... glad I didn't make the mistake of asking if they were twins!!!
