TSH down to 2.46

I was over 3 before, when they first prescribed .25mg synthroid back in February. My RE likes it to be below 2.5 although I've also heard that below 2 can be beneficial. I won't ask to increase my dosage b/c its where he wants it to be but any thoughts on things I can do to help support a healthier thyroid?

Hey, that's great! Mine is miraculously down to 1.31 after being 3.02 just two weeks ago (I think ultimately my endo is going to have to decrease the synthroid dosage b/c that seems like a really fast drop, but it's a huge relief!).  No advice on thyroid support since I don't have one to support....(I only met my thyroid when it was sick....).

    Yay for being in range!

Check out acupuncture, particularly if it's covered by insurance.  Mine was in the OK range but went to the ideal range once I started acupuncture, and the practitioners I've talked to have suggested that it can really help.  Good luck!
