I am a licensed Agent with Aflac and I speak with young woman looking for some kind of Maternity coverage or supplemental Hospital protection to Have a baby.
Aflac has a few policies that pay you specifically for the number of Days spent in the Hospital and the delivery of your little bundle of joy.
The coverage has a 10 month waiting period, meaning you would have to have the plan inforce at least 10 months before delivering the child.
The coverage is being pulled from many states for some reason or another...
The Following states no longer have the coverage available:
- Utah
- Iowa
- California
- Massachusets
- Delaware
- Arizona
Among a list of many others - The plans hold an average monthly period of $50
