Joanne's or Michael's framing?

One better or cheaper than the other? I drive by the Michael's in Kirkland and previously remember seeing a sign that it is 50% off custom framing, but I can't remember if that is still going on. And I just recieved a coupon for Joanne's for 50% off framing? Joanne's is just farther away.

Anyone know about the Michael's deal or have an opinion on either framing options?

I've never used Michaels but I've had good luck with Joann's!

I guess it depends on what you're trying to frame.  It's often MUCH cheaper just to choose the matting and frame yourself if what you're trying to frame is a standardish size.  If not, I've gotten stuff framed at Aaron Brothers but never Michaels or Joanns so not sure on which would be better/cheapest.
