I do not know a single person IRL with this name. I know 1 Aiden through FB (a high school friend I haven't seen in almost 20 years named her son this) and another one who is in DD's gymnastics class. I do not know any Jaydens, Braydens, Caydens, etc.
I believe the trend is real because I can see the numbers in SSA or on this board, but where do all these people live?

I can tell you they definitely live in Austin, Texas; Orange County, California; and northern Wisconsin. We lived in Austin until last fall, now live in northern WI, and spend a decent amount of time at my parents' place in OC - the -adens run rampant in all three locations.
I don't think any of the names are nice at all, and I can't imagine why anyone is still using them.

I promise you there's a slew of them in Georgia and Alabama. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 10 "-ayden" babies in my circle that were born between 2009 and now.

I was going to say Texas and California for sure. I am originally from Houston and the Caden, Jayden, Brayden thing is huge there. We lived in Orange County for 2 years and knew a bunch of Braydens/Haydens/Jaydens there too. Here the naming is different. People typically go for classic names like Henry, Lucas, Logan, Jack, Finn, Cate, Sarah, Hannah, Alex, etc. Much better IMO.
I hate that Aedan/Aidan is being looked at as a bad name because of its popularity. It is a beautiful Irish boy and it just stinks that its become this over used name that people now think is awful.

That and they are just bad names in general. There is nothing appealing about them.
i'm glad that - for the most part - the ladies around this board are immune. [:

One of our friends recently started dating a woman with a little girl named Jayden. It was the first time I'd heard of a little girl with the name.
I think there are worse names, but there are definitely better names.

Friends of mine on facebook have named their babies:
Jayden (g), Adrian, Adreon, Hayden (sister's name is Katelyn)
These names are like herpes, they just keep spreading.
I've known a couple of Aidan's (with various spellings) and a friend of DH has a Jayden.I also had a coworker name his son Cade.
I think Aidan is gorgeous, but I can't stand the rest. I especially dislike Brayden.
