looser stools (TMI)

I struggled with constipation earlier on in the pregnancy but lately have had looser stools. I even had some diarrhea tonight about an hour after I ate. I was just wondering if anyone has noticed this happening as well. Maybe it is due to hormonal changes??

I've had the same issue. I'm considering myself lucky and not complaining. It's not the best, but it beats the horrible constipation I went through for months.

Yup I'm right there with ya! Plus I must of had some virus Sunday and Monday, because I was going non-stop, it was painful. Now I'm back to the typical "looser" stools. I agree that its better than the constipation!

Soo..I just realized I switched prenatal vitamins because I ran out of the ones I've been using since the beginning! Right on the box it says...gentle stool softener added for added comfort. LOL...so I think I found the culprit!! Check your prenatal vitamins ladies!!

looser stools is common closer to the end of pregnancy, I've heard of several woman having this in the weeks leading up to delivery.

 

Sounds like the culprit in your case is the prenatal vitamin though.

I am right there with you and have been for almost a week now.  Have heard a lot of women get looser stools in the weeks leading up to delivery.  As long as i can make it another 4 weeks ill be happy as i had PROM @ 34 weeks with my daughter.
