Alright. I am going to try and grow some tougher skin for this board! Sometimes I take negative opinions to heart but I'm sure a lot of the advice you get on here is helpful. I know we are early in our pregnancy but we are still over the moon about talking names again! What are your thoughts on these? The middle name will be Ann which is DH's mom's middle name.
Macie
Avery
Mya
I'm pretty sure Mya is technically rather trendy but I have recently fallen in love with it.
Re: Girl Name Advice
i don't think any of them flows perfectly with ann but i like mya the best with connor
eta: i also prefer maya and i just noticed how adorable your son is! that's a great picture, he's so cute.
I like Mya (prefer Maya) but not the others. However, Mya Ann sounds like Mayan ... as in the ancient civilization. Just an FYI. Not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you have any connections to Mexico.
Macie is bad. The spelling is bad, the name spelled "correctly" is bad, and ditto the Teen Mom thing.
Avery is pretty, though some would argue it's a boy name. I know a few little Avery girls and I think it's a nice name. Goes well with Connor.
Mya, spelled as such, looks bad. Maya is slightly better, but I still don't love it.

Originally I wanted Avery Brynn, but DHs mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer a few weeks ago...she has 4 grandsons but no girls in the family. We thought it would be a great way to honor her if it does turn out to be a girl. I love the name, but I do agree with it not sounding great with Ann.
What about Anna or Annie or Annabelle, if you're wanting to honor an Ann? One of my good friends has a Connor and an Anna and I think those names are lovely together. I think any form of Ann would be more timeless and touching than your other options.

Mya would be my pick, although as mentioned I do not like the sound of Mya Ann.
Macie doesn't seem like it would grow up very well to me.
Avery isn't my style, I prefer it as a boy name.
Are you open to suggestions? Based on your other choices:
Harper
Piper
Mila
Lilah
Quinn
Paige
Lena
Ivy
Mina
Brenna
Eva
Mila and Brenna are both great! But do either of those go with Ann? I thought Ann would be easy...it's definitely not!
I think Mila or Mia would be lovely and you don't have to use just Anne for a mn- couldn't you to a variation of Anne? Like Annette? Annabelle? Other names I like:
Sabrina, Daphne, Anna (for a fn), Penelope, Bridget, Chloe, Lauren, Natalie, Tabitha, Moira, Sasha, Alita
