Are your kids more like you or DH?

I was just thinking today how DS#1 is exactly like me in looks and personality, while DS#2 is just like DH in looks and personality. They're 5 and 2, so things might change as they age, but right now, that pretty much sums it up. It's almost funny how clear cut it is. 

How about your kids? Are they an even blend of you and DH? Or does one take after one parent more? Or do they seem to be completely their own kid?

DS doesn't look exactly like either of us, but he takes after DH's side of the family.  His mouth reminds me of FIL's and BIL's mouth!

Personality wise- it's still kind of early to tell.  He seems pretty detail oriented like me, but also pretty darned smart, like his dad.  

We'll see as he keeps gettting older.  I hope he gets his dads intelligence and sense of humor!

DS #1 looks more like me, except he has blonde hair and hazel eyes, I have brown hair and eyes. We also have similar personalities, he's a lot like I was when I was little. DS#2 is his father's child from looks to personality the whole shebang!

DS is a lot like me.  He has my personality but amplified in boy form.  He looks just like my ex but has picked up facial expressions from my DH.  Its fascinating to see what traits DS is showing that are inherited from his birth father but learned from his adopted father.

We often joke that DD1 is my sister's clone (but she does have lots of DH in her).  DD2 is scarily like me.  And DD3 is an even blend of DH and my little brother.

my oldest DS is exactly like me, and my youngest DS is exactly like my husband.  It's fascinating and spooky

DS he looks just like DH, but has my skin tone, hair and eye color.  Basically, he's the white version of DH.  His facial expressions and personality is more like DH, but he gets his patience (or lack thereof) from me.

When they are sweet, they are just like me. When they are bad, they are just like DH.

They both look like DH, so much that every.one.says.that. They both have his forehead; DD's face is 50/50 me and DH. DS totally looked like my dad when he wa a newborn. Personality, it's hard to tell. They're both stubborn, which is for sure a trait from DH's side. He and his brother can be such mules!

DD #1 - looks more like DH, but you can see a little bit of me in there. Acts alot like me.

DD #2 - looks more like my side, acts like her own self. She is just a happy go lucky person which neither of us is. Maybe some A type tendencies on certain things, which would be DH.

DD #3 - My MIL genes squashed my FIL genes and all of my sides genes. She is a clone of her. Her personality, I am not really sure yet. Hopefully not MIL. It keeps changing as she gets older.

Joey is Joe's mini-me....in every way, shape and form.  He's a touch more sensitive than Joe - but I attribute that to age and his mushy mommy! 

Cam - she's my mini-me.  Looks like me, acts like me....it scares me.  Often.  And makes me cry many times over.  I feel like I have a "second chance at life" with her and yet I don't take advantage of it.  At all.  Makes my heart hurt for her!

Sam looks like me  and so far, he seems to have my personality.  I watch him talk and he even uses his hands to talk like me. 

Max is a clone of my husband, appearance-wise, minus the curly hair.  He acts a lot like my DH too.  He's kind of rough around the edges, compared to Sam. The goofy side that is coming out more and more is more me than DH.
