Snack Suggestions

I love to eat goldfish, but nutritionally they are pretty worthless and really aren't that filling. Does anyone have some good suggestions for something different, but with more nutritional value?

  • Mixed nuts with dried fruit

    Strawberries, or other fruit with cottage cheese

    Crackers with cheese slices on top

    Popcorn dipped in hummas (One of my pregnant favorites this time around)

    Carrots and hummas

    String cheese

    Apple slices with nutella

     Carrots, pretzels, celery, graham crakers...

  • I just found something new at the grocery store that is extremely yummy ... Quaker Oatmeal Squares. I bought the brown sugar kind, but there are others to try. I eat them like gold fish crackers as a snack (keep the box in my bottom drawer of my desk at work).   :)

  • I do not know if this is a snack, but it works for me. Dryers fresh fruit popsicles. I love the strawberry and lime ones!!!!

  • I love almonds and always carry some with me in case hunger strikes

  • I like string cheese and almonds as a good, filling snack.  Fruit is always good too.  I'm not one for snacking on veggies...
  • yogurt and granola

    banana/apple/carrot/celery/whatever with peanut butter

    almonds - I like to mix mine with dried tropical fruit

    string cheese paired with pretzels or a high fiber cracker

    fruit salad and something with carbs like pretzels or even goldfish
