when you are at that point in your delivery that is one thing you will NOT be thinking about. You are going to be concentrating on getting that kid out. And it's a good sign that you are pushing correctly actually. You are using the same muscles.
oh i'm well aware of the fact that it's a good sign & i'm being somewhat ridiculous.
just grosses me out. but i know you're right & i won't give a rat's a$$ by then. in the meantime though, i have the next 31 1/2 weeks to be grossed out by it & hope that I don't do it. ; )
And I hope no one takes offense to that. I wasn't flaming or anything, I was just trying to reassure. After I read my post it kind of sounded snotty! Sorry!
No offence taken.. I'm just one of those people who.... I did not fart in front of DH until I got pg this time. ... well I dont count the under the covers at night ones though. So to me, it will be a quite a change... but as I look at it... anythign to have my baby. I guess it goes to one of my posts from yesterday... things I never thought I'd do, but doing it for the baby.
DD is almost 3 and to this day, I have no clue whether or not I did....and don't really care. I had an epi, so I never felt it, but if I did, I had a great Dr. and nurse who made sure I never knew about it....and a sweet DH who's never said a word I thought about it beforehand, but honestly...when you are pushing, it is the LAST thing you will be thinking about.
I was worried about this before, but didn't even cross my mind afterwards. DH said I didn't, but he could have lied to me and I wouldn't have known. Don't worry about it!

oh, lordy.
I hope you're right...
I knew when I did and the nurse actually went "yay!"
I looked at DH and said "I just *** on the table, didn't I?" and laughed
