Hiccups?

Has your baby had hiccups?  What do these feel like?

I've noticed a few times in the last few weeks that in the evening while my baby is active, there is like a pulsing feeling I get.  Kind of like a fast heartbeat pace.  It lasts less than a minute.  Could these be hiccups I'm feeling?

Re: Hiccups?

  • Hiccups, fm my experience being pregnant and my past as an US tech, have never been heartbeat fast. But they can last only a minute or so.

  • I dunno if I'm right or not, but what I consider hiccups are light taps that come at pretty even timing.  It's not random like one or two thumps and that's it.  It's a repetitive feeling that lasts for a few minutes for me.

  • If it's a regularly spaced twitch that lasts a few minutes, I consider it hiccups. For me they feel bigger than kicks, usually.

This.  It almost feels like a muscle twitch or something.  She seems to get them a few times a day lately.  Poor sweet baby.

  • I can't feel hiccups :( My LO obviously had them when I went in for my last ultrasound and I didn't feel a thing.

  • My little girl has had hiccups! What helped me realize they were hiccups was seeing it during an ultrasound and feeling it... I think what your describing sounds like hiccups.
