s/o paper plates - clicky poll

I have some paper plates from a party a couple years ago. We never use them, however, I'm pretty sure I used them for DD's party last year. They were from Ikea - and are red w/funky hearts or something like that.  So I'm debating buying Mickey Mouse themed ones for her bday party & saving the current paper plates for our hurricane kit.... What should I do?

That part about "there won't be any hurricanes this summer" cracked me up.  Yeah, right!

Haha!  I know...thankfully, we haven't had any near us for over 5 years now...but I've got a feeling about this summer, which is why we went & stocked up on our hurricane food kit portion already.

I have the same feeling you do. Luckily, I now live 90 minutes from either coast but before we moved here we lived about 25 miles from Cocoa. I hope we don't have any but i think it's due :( kwim

I totally feel that way too. We usually stay around town but this year if there are any scares I'm outta here.  Too many natural disasters happening to not take it serious.  I feel that one time it will be FL's time and I don't want to be here for it.

  • Hmm...is it really bad that I kinda hope there is one that takes away my house while we are evacuated?  I'll have the important stuff with me.  And it needs to not destroy the houses around me.  That way we don't have to worry about selling or renting our house.  It would be awesome.

That's not too much to ask is it?

I kind of hope this too.  I would love to get a big fat insurance check and move outta dodge!  Not gonna happen any other way...
