It's cute: it gives you questions to answer, though some of the questions are completely ridiculous and don't apply to me or my pregnancy. I take that opportunity to answer snarkily. (Baby should know I was a sarcastic biotch before he was born, too, because I don't see that changing after I have him...)
I got the Pregnancy Journal and honestly it has become so much of a chore. I don't know why but I hate writing in it. I've been maintaining a very rough journal online so I guess it just seems repetitive to me. I try and update my actual journal like once a month but I usually just use my online one as a guide.
I hate that it seems like work but I'm afraid if I don't do it, I'll regret it.
bumping from my phone. please pardon any typos and missing punctuation
I just bought the Belly Book, so I feel like I'm a little late in starting on it, but I'm hoping to keep up with it... I can definitely see how it could seem like a chore to write in it regularly, but I'm hoping I can stick with it. I feel like down the road I'll be glad I took the time to record what I've been going through!
The thought never occured to me to do one of these
I actually hadn't even heard of it really til the other day when I saw a post about one and now I'm pretty upset. I'm debating whether or not to go back in my memory bank and try to write down things that have happened, but I feel like it might ruin making one because it wouldn't be exact.
I bought the Belly Book right away with the best intentions of writing in it but my m/s was so bad and I was so tired at night the first 10 weeks are barely filled out. I'm trying to be better about it, I really do want to have the memories written down, it's just such a chore!

I just bought a plain old journal at 12 weeks (I was afraid to start one before then although I did start writing at about 8 weeks on just a notepad) and I write letters to the baby when something important happens or whenever I feel like it. I felt less strain and more creativity doing it this way then buying a specialized journal.
i got the pregnancy journal and as PP said it kinda dragged on at first. It had you write a bunch of stuff early on in the pregnancy. Once first trimester was over it hasn't been bad at all to keep up with. The stuff in the beginning was like your childhood/family etc, which was a pain. But now I'm up to date and it isn't so bad once you get through the initial stuff.

I got "The Pregnancy Journal" which has a day-by-day countdown, which I like. I wrote a few things in it at first like first dr's appt, when we found out, etc. But they lost me at the "What Makes Me Sad" page.

I got the Belly Book and update it weekly. I leave it on my nightstand and one night a week I'll do it. I like the Belly Book because some of the pages are just simple questions to answer that is not too cumbersome to keep up with to you won't feel like it's a chore.
I got the Belly Book with DS and with this baby. I didn't print all the belly pictures out for DS's until near the end, but they are all in there. I think it will be fun for them to look back at one day and the Belly Book doesn't have a ton of writing involved. For me, it's been fun to look back on the one I had for DS and compare it to this pregnancy.
I have the Belly Book and have been writing in it. Haven't put any of my belly pictures in yet though.
This.. I think its such a cute idea, and when i write in it, I can just picture my baby girl all grown up and reading it, maybe even while she's pg with her own.

I also got the Belly Book and def don't remember to write in it. Then when I do remember to write in it, its like weeks late and I can barely remember what I would have wanted to say like 5 weeks ago or something. Its pretty bad actually! And I have no pictures in there either.
