Weird medical question

I know this is going to sound odd, but I figured I would ask you ladies before I called my DR and looked like a complete moron. It's a bit personal, but here it goes....

I am 7 weeks today and this is my first pregnancy,for the last 3 weeks or so, when I urinate I cramp for a few minutes afterwards. It feels just like menstral cramps. Does this happen to anyone else? 

I have read book after book and nothing addresses this weird symptom. am I the only one?

    I would ask your doctor because it may be a UTI, bladder or kidney infection.

    Yeah, call and ask.  It may be just a symptom, but if it's an infection you want that fixed ASAP!

    Thanks ladies. They think it may be a blader infection. I am going in later this afternoon to get tested. Thanks for not meking me feel so silly!
