I love Craigslist

So excited... We got a 2010 BOB Stroller for $215 on craigslist... it is in great condition and comes with the drink holder thing (its the sport version, so also comes with resistance bands? not sure I will use them- but whatever).  I've been getting stressed with the cost of everything, so this was a relief! I think I might have found a Pottery Barn upholstered rocker chair with slip cover for $300 as well- going to check it out tonight to see what condition its in....

 Have others had the same kind of luck on craigslist?

I have been trying to get a used Bob revolution duallie from craigslist. So far someone has always beaten me to it. Congratulations. I think we might just get one from ebay before we actually need it. I did score a baby bjorn carrier from there before. I was really happy about that.

We found our Doula on Craigslist. She is still in training, so only charging us $100! Most charge about $800 around here, which was more than we wanted to spend.  I've also scored a lot of used CD's.  I'm trying to hold out until my shower until I buy anything else on there . . . we'll see how that goes!

I also found my husband on Craigslist :-)

We haven't gotten anything too huge from Craigslist, but definitely some good deals. We got our changing table for $40, the same one is at BRU for $100! We also got a beautiful dresser for $40, and our cradle mattress for $8! The mattress is brand new, and I was having a super hard time finding one that fits our cradle at all, even in stores. So that was probably my favorite find.

There are amazing deals on Craigslist all the time, I'm just trying to wait until after my next shower to get too much stuff

I love Craigslist, too! We haven't gotten anything baby related (although I'm always looking!), but we buy and sell lots of furniture. I bought my Crate and Barrel dining room set from there, and my bedroom set (originally $6,000 we got for $1,400 in perfect condition), etc. Love it!

You got yourself an awesome deal on that Bob stroller! Ive been pricing Bobs and looking at them on Craigslist as well. I think in the end im going with the Citi Mini though......

Craigslist is the best and I use it all the time!
