Swollen feet!

OH MY! I went to the bathroom earlier, and looked down to see two huge swollen boats where my feet used to be. I don't know if they've been slowly swelling all day and I just now noticed it, or they just puffed up in the last hour. But wowsers.

And they kinda hurt. Maybe not hurt, there is just a lot of pressure.

It's going to be a long summer, I do believe. (And it's going to be even hotter tomorrow. Fab.)

Yea I had to squeeze into my flats last Saturday; my feet were so swollen I could barely get them on.

Mine have been swelling on the hotter days for the last two weeks, it IS going to be a long summer!

I've been doing this all day. That's why I'm so freaked out! It's just REALLY hot and humid here.

My feet are really killing me now. Sigh.

Get 2 gel ice packs and put them on a throw pillow, and your feet on top. It helped me so much last pregnancy when I was super swollen in the summer time.

Yep, this happened to me with both my previous pregnancies which were in the summertime. Yesterday, it was the first warm day in a while and my feet swelled up right away, my ankle looked awful..

In my childbirth class, I've learned that if you get swollen hands/feet, you may not be getting enough protein and salt in your diet. Try eating more protein (like 200gm a day) and salt (yes, more salt - it's because of our increased blood volume), and see if that helps.
