Even if this LO was a boy, he'd have a bright purple one, because that's the one we got as a hand me down from a friend. Colors on stuff like that (when the babies are too young to care) does not matter to much (to DH and me). If it's cheap and safe, it's good enough.

I think it's fine, especially since most of it is black. As long as there's no pink, they all seem to be pretty neutral.

It's totally okay! Also, we have that one already for our DS when he comes. My FIL wanted to get us a travel system, so way before we even knew what it was we went for something neutral and I'm glad we picked that one.
