I'm not really surprised though. To be honest I'm thrilled I made it this long without being on bedrest.
But I went to my appt. today and complained to my dr. of lots of BH's and just general discomfort...she said that's typical at this stage in a twin pregnancy b/c I'm now measuring full term...but she decided to check my cervix anyways.
It's still closed, but it's softening and getting shorter. So she said she wants me to take it really easy from here on out. No more grocery shopping trips or housework. This isn't going to be a huge change because since I quit working 2 weeks ago I've been doing a LOT of laying on the couch just because I'm always tired. But I also did housework as well.
Anyways, hoping I can cook these babies another 5+ weeks!!! But again, I'm really grateful I've even made it this far!

Welcome to team bed rest! As long as your bed rest isn't strict, it's not that bad. I am basically just super lazy. I hang out on the couch and in bed and do whatever I feel like.
Good luck over the next couple of months!

I'm sorry I don't know, she didn't say! all she said was that it's soft and getting shorter and while it's not cause for immediate alarm yet, we're going to keep a close eye on things.
Thanks ladies! I know, I feel pretty grateful to have made it this far honestly. I'd LOVE to make it past 35 weeks though...we'll see!

Videos of telling my family and husbands family that we are preggo...with twins!
Good luck. I agree with whoever said it bed rest sucks. I was on bed rest with last pg. I was on complete bed rest when I was in the hospital at 28 weeks and once I went home it was moderate bed rest.
For what it's worth no one thought I'd make it to 37 weeks with my last pg , and I did,so stay positive !
