Happy Mother's Day to all PgALers, and ((hugs)) to you this day for the LOs we have lost and the rainbow babies we carry. The mutual support we give each other is truly the gift that keeps on giving, Mother's Day and every day.
On this Mother's Day weekend full of First Communions, graduations and other parties, I came to realize that but for my parents who have kept their lips sealed as per my request, and my 3 co-workers who know and have not told anyone at work, the few other family and friends who know our news have spread it far and wide (to the point that my best friend's mother calmly walked up to me in a crowd of people yesterday at my Godson's communion party and started patting my belly and asking how I was feeling - ick ick ick!). DH's immediate family was also unable to keep it quite and spread it to their neighbors and friends in WI - as evidenced by the "congratulations" cards from a few random people we received late last week.
Since randoms now know, I gave my parents leave today to spread the word on my side of the family. It only seems fair that if friends of friends and the families of my friends know, my family should know, too. I'm going to try and keep it on the down low at work till the anatomy scan, though. ::crossing fingers that works::
So the cat is basically out of the bag. It is frightening and a relief all at the same time.

My Forever Sister From Another Mister~CashewsMommy!!
I know it's scary, but it was actually a relief to me when my family started really blabbing (they can't keep a secret worth a flip) in the 2nd Tri. It saved me from telling people, which is something I still struggle with. Hopefully it'll be a source of support for you as well.
How'd the telling the boss in the other city go after the FH announced her pregnancy and maternity leave way early?
Thanks for remembering that fun from last week. The Dept Head was very nice and supportive and promised to keep the info confidential till I give him the word. We have had a few women lately leave soon after having a baby to be SAHMs (not an option for me) so I think he was more worried about my not coming back from maternity leave than having the baby.
