Which sit and stand do you have? Love it or hate it?

I'm trying to decide btwn the Baby Trend for about $150 or the Joovy Caboose Ultralight (lighter) for about $240. That's a big difference, just wanted any advice?

  • I borrowed a friend's Baby Trend the other day to use with my DD and a 2-month old I babysit. It was pretty easy to maneuver, but it's pretty long when you use the infant seat attachment. Easy to fold up, and folds surprisingly flat. Her's is about 5 years old, though, not sure how much they've changed since then.

I had the BT double and HATED it.  It's long and heavy which makes it a pain to push and steer.  I've heard much better things about the push on the Joovys.  If you're set on a tandem sit n stand, they're the way to go.

  • I have the Joovy Ultralight and I love it! Lots of storage, easy to use, folds nice. I did some research before I bought it, it's worth the extra money.
  • Thank you! I believe that seals the deal...Joovy it is : )
  • I have the Baby Trend and don't find it to be too heavy. Mine steers very well and folds small enough to fit in the trunk of my Nissan Sentra.

  • We have the Joovy Caboose (the not lighter one) and I'm pretty darn happy with it.  To be honest, the only thing I don't like about it is that it's sort of heavy to push and a little hard to steer sometimes (def can't steer with one hand).  Other than that, I love it.  I live in the city and use it all the time- including on the bus and it works just fine getting on and off, isn't huge, isn't ::that:: heavy or hard to fold if we have to put it in the car, etc.  I'm happy with it and would be even happier if it were the ultralight version.  We ordered ours brand-new from ebay and got it for $116 (including shipping).  I bet you could get yours off of there for significantly less than $240- maybe $170 or so.  Check it out!  :)
