wdyt straw sippy vs. cup?

Lily seems to want to use a regular cup.  She gets mad when I give her a sippy and she points at my glass of water and gestures that she wants to drink from that.  Should I upgrade her to a straw sippy or go straight to a toddler style cup?

I think there's a time for both.  I'd give her a regular cup when you're around to supervise at all times (meals, etc.).  It's a great skill for her to learn.  I often give Emma a sippy when she's in her playroom or when I'm making dinner and am not right there.  Maybe a straw sippy would work for those times.  That said, I HATE cleaning straw sippy's!!!!!

Maybe the take and toss cups?  And I'm with the PP--hate cleaning straw sippies!
