a word of advice

keep your car seat manuals handy.  when your toddler pukes ice cream, and you have to take the seat apart to get the cover off so you can wash it and then reassemble it all, the manual will come in handy.  also know that it may take almost 24 hours to dry completely depending on the seat.

  • we keep our manuals underneath the fabric lining of the seat, so that its never missing. its worked for us thus far.

  • yeah, ours is attached under the fabric of the seat (Britax).  But our infant seat isn't like that.  We used to keep that in the glove box.

Ugh, my DD does this, too. The high chair cover was the casualty in our house, luckily those dry surprisingly fast :)

  • YUP!  I totally concur, I never removed mine from the seat itself.  I can't believe they haven't figured out that sometimes we need these covers to be able to go thru the dryer.

they just want you to spend the extra $70 or whatever to buy a spare cover.
