I knew the amnio results probably wouldn't be ready today, but I hoped.

So I just called the geneticist to see if the amnio results were in and they are not. We were initially told the results would be in between today and Weds, but really were hoping for today.

While we feel a lot better since getting the FISH results, we are still really anxious to get the all clear on the genetic issues so we could focus on the issue with the baby's heart.

The geneticist said we should get the results Mon, Tuesday the latest.

I think waiting is the worst part!  When we waited for our CVS results I seriously just wanted to know one way or another to prepare or to be happy.  I almost had an anxiety attack when they finally called and I saw the number.  Hang in there and keep thinking good thoughts! 

 

What are they looking for in the amnio if you don't mind me asking?
