Dr appt....not sure what to think

So I have been measuring small this whole pg, and the docs keep telling me not to worry it's fine and I'm fine with that. Today though my doc (first time I've seen this one this pg and she's the head of the practice) made the comment that I am really small so she scheduled a growth u/s. She didn't seem terribly concerned, and I have felt great with plenty of movement (and my bp is great, weight is great, blood sugar was "very low" which she said was fine) but now of course I'm starting to think all sorts of stuff.

On the bright side though, I get to see her again, and hopefully confirm that it is a girl. I'm trying to focus on that. I have it scheduled for next Friday so I have to wait a whole week!

 

ETA: uh-oh I just realized my u/s is on Friday the 13th!

haha I just posted about this. I have been measuring small and have only gained 3 pounds. I had my growth u/s yesterday and baby is actually measuring ahead and she weighs 3 lbs 2 oz. they even moved my due date and said she is in the 61 percentile. Hope this helps you feel better.

Glad the Dr. is not too concerned but good that she's sending you for a u/s. Try not to worry. It's exciting that you get to see your LO again and verify that she's a girl. Good Luck with the u/s!

Yeah I was measuring 3 weeks behind about 2 weeks ago and now that I'm back in the US I can get a growth ultrasound which is where I'm headed in 20 minutes.  The doc here didn't even measure me, she said its not accurate.

Good luck at your growth u/s! It's a good thing the doctor isn't concerned.
