July 2011 Moms

The sad pooch story I posted last week (better news)

He is doing better and being cared for. There have been a lot of community donations to care for him, but the vet who is helping him is doing it for free.  So, all donations to the rescue will go to food/medication/care for him and other animals that the shelter cares for.   He is going in for surgery tomorrow and his ears will be amputated.  The tissue damage from the burns has finally stopped so they know the extent of the damage.  He will be at the rescue (foster home) for sometime, but he will be adopted out as soon as he can be.  There is already a long line of people to adopt him.
