f/u Anyone else NOT get any A/S results??

It was 9 days ago and I haven't heard a word. The place we got it done reports any problems to my birth center and then they contact us with any problems. My birth center told me that no news is good news, but we have ZERO information. The tech wouldn't tell us anything, not even how much she weighed. I emailed my birth center a couple days ago but haven't heard anything from them (which isn't typical, they must be busy delivering a bunch of babes).

It's not that I'm concerned really because if there was something wrong I'm sure we would have heard. But it is rather annoying to not get ANY information from it.

That IS annoying!  I'd be calling every few hours, but that is just me.  I hope you hear something soon....though I do agree that no news is good news:)  Still, it is nice to hear the good news!

Hmm, that's irritating.  Could you try calling your OB/midwife directly?  I personally don't like that "no news is good news" thing.  Just have a nurse spend the 30 seconds to call me and say "everything looked great...do you have any questions?"   I'm sure you're right, that you would have heard something if there was anything wrong, but I see why you're annoyed!

I didn't get any information either.  I've got my next dr appt on the 11th and I expect they will give me the info then.  Mine also told me, no news is good news, so I suppose they will just get the data when I get there.

That's really annoying.  With my NT scan they said the results would be ready in a week...2 1/2 weeks later I still hadn't heard anything, so I called.  The results were in, but they hadn't gotten around to calling me yet.  I would give them a call and just say you wanted to follow-up.

I try to avoid bugging the pro's but I guess it is to be expected, especially with FTM. I just sent a follow-up email and if I don't hear anything by tomorrow morning I will call the office. Thanks for the nudge ladies!

The only result i have gotten was then the tech told me that everything looked good.  I haven't recieved a phone call from my doctor so i'm assuming no news is good news

The lack of info would drive me completely nuts.  It's not like this is a simple PAP!  I'd want to hear that the doc was able to see and assess everything he/she needed to based on the tech's work.  My u/s doc came in and talked with me and DH after, said the tech's pics were great and everything looked perfect.  He even had me get back on the table so he could try and have a look at baby's heart himself because that's his personal preference.  He said that heart defects are one of the most commonly missed before birth.

I am sure everything's good with your LO - hope that the office gets back to you ASAP!

With my DS they didn't give us any details or reports either. No news is good news. I don't think all places give detailed feedback. They would probably have been in touch with you by now if there were any concerns.

Ok, I heard back from them! She said "everything is perfect". ahhhhh music to my ears. She said we will go over everything in depth at my next visit which is the 24th.

I guess sometimes you have to be the pest in order to get answers.

Yikes, 9 days? That is annoying. I was going bonkers no knowing anything for less than a week. Once I got a reply from my doc, she only told me that everything was normal. Even at my appointment this Monday, she just stated the same thing. Maybe email/call them again like PP have said.
