Yeah, I used to think that I didn't want to use a name that was in the top 25 or 50, but now that we're seriously talking about names, I just don't think I care anymore. Olivia is one of our favorite names, and it's #4, but I don't think I even care. I don't know any Olivias, and that's sort of enough for me. Ditto with the other names we like, though I don't see those on the top 25 list.
I'm a proud mom of a little boy with the #5 name (William). One of our top choices for #2 is Samuel, which is also on the list. Oh well, I love the names and they're classic, so that's all that matters to me!

I like Olivia and was considering it if we have a girl. I only know one Olivia but I don't know many small children so theres still a chance she may have to go through class as Olivia K.
Re: SSA Announced 2010 Popular Baby Names
I know! What is wrong with people!
Jayden? Seriously?
I think that is an awful name... Sorry if I'm offending anyone.
Jayden, too.

Our name, Cody, hasn't been in the top 50 in the past 10 years and was 158 in 2010. Works for me.
And I can't stand the name Neveah.
