OB apt today (vent)

So had my lovely annual today and got to sit for a very long time in the waiting room with all the pregnant people.  The girls behind me were complaining about being pregnant.  All I could think of was "please call me next" the whole time I was waiting.  Finally get called back and the nurse ask me how my LO is.  I say, "I don't have kids and probably can't."  She keeps talking about how she must have me confused with someone with a similar name as me.  Ummm... probably not, since DH and I are the only people in Columbus with our last name.  Then, here's the kicker, she said "you're lucky you don't have any kids."  From there I just blocked her out.  If I would continue to listen to her I might have punched her out. 

I told DH and he said I should have told the doctor.  If it continues to bother me, I might call tomorrow. Ok, vent over.  Thanks for listening.

Hugs. Sorry you had to deal with that. I probably would have said something. At least it's only an annual exam, so I hope you'll be KU way before then.

Wow, that's really crappy.  I'm sorry you had to deal with that.  ((hugs))  I ended up switching OB's b/c my original dr was so insensitive and unresponsive to the whole IF thing.  (I'm in CMH, too! )

I'm sorry you had to go through that.  I am with you DH.  You should call defiinitely.  It's not even like you are trying to get her in trouble but to make her aware that it was inappropriate conversation to have!  You were nice... she may meet someone who WILL clock her!
