Ok ladies, here's what's going on. I bought my cousin a scrapbook for when her daughter was born (I didn't make it to the babyshower) and it turned out that her daughter was born a son!! I never ended up giving it to her as it was personalized with the little girl name. I have had it stashed in my craft cabinet and when I found out we were having a girl I thought about redoing the scrapbook cover. It's a soft pink and I was going to cover the bottom 1/3 in stripes of the original light pink, purple, aqua, and light green. My question is, should I just make a name tag type of thing to cover the embossing?? I want it to be covered but I want the top half to kind of be plain because I want to glue down some butterflies that go with her theme.
Here's the album
Here's her bedding/theme

Any other suggestions instead? Thank you for reading and helping!!
Re: Kuraks10/scrapbookers/crafters
I work at a crafting store. My favorite adhesive, which I've found to be very all purpose, is PVA glue.
If you layer, for example, a white label with a name/birthday on a colored piece of cardstock, it's a really nice look, plus is thicker so would mask the 3d letters underneath.

Great bedding!! Love the idea by the way. Making a name tag to cover up the embossing will give you plenty of room for the butterflies without overwhelming it. Very good idea!!
Unless you didn't want a name tag then you could cover the top (where the name is) with the stripes and leave the rest plain which would still give you room for the butterflies!
Goodluck!
I'm starting to make the baby's birth announcements & I'm so excited! lol
