Holy cow! While they look awesome it seems a bit much to spend $500 on a mattress IMHO...I'd rather invest that in Cord Blood Banking...however if money was not an issue it looks like a sound choice...
I went to Target the other day and they have a new line of Munchkin Organic Cloth Toddler Mattresses that had me tempted (but we already have 2 so no need)...the highest priced one was $99...

I got a good eco-friendly organic crib mattress for just $95.00! It?s available online on aBaby.com. The mattress is filled with organic cotton and is covered by 100 percent latex. This keeps the moisture out and prevents bacteria from growing. Less odor! It?s a super buy!
Re: best organic crib mattress?

We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

We got this one too.
Ditto!!! It was highly rated in the Baby Bargains book too and not expensive at all. I think I paid $109.
