Does anyone know of a current website that compares hpt sensitivity? I have taken quite a few Answers hpts (I'll never admit exactly how many) and the test line has consistently gotten darker and is now nearly as dark as the control line. I picked up a few $$ store tests to try to save money and have taken 3 and they are all faint not getting darker at all. So I need to know what kind of sensitivity dollar store tests have?

I think even within one brand of tests, the amount of dye can vary, so the darkness of the line isn't really a good indicator of anything.

Put down the pee sticks and stop obsessing. They can't tell you how pregnant you are, and among different brands you're going to get different results, your urine concentration will also affect it.
If this is saving your sanity...you might want betas instead. The stick comparisons sound just as stressful!

My $ store tests were always much lighter than the wondolfos when I used them at the same time.
So excited for you that you have a line at all!
Exactly, it's not saving your sanity. I get it, my OB wouldn't even do betas, so I POAS a lot too, but I tried to be content with a line being a line. And comparing between brands you're obviously going to get different degrees of light/darkness. I know it's so hard, try not to stress.
When do you get an u/s or doppler check at your doctor's?

Well I am supposed to go to my OB on 5/12 for my routine yearly visit. That was scheduled prior to finding out I was pg. I was going to give it until next week and call monday morning and see if they want me to keep the appt (I'll only be 5 weeks on the 12th and that's by ovulation) or move it back a couple weeks.
Obviously ask them but it seems to me you'd be better off waiting so you can get an u/s since you're not doing betas. Waiting for that first appointment (and in between all subsequent appts) is torture. I wish you peace and patience until then!!
