MN for Ella?

Where the name Ella is pretty popular I'd like to find a mn that makes the whole name a little different. We cant seem to get away from 'Grace' which while a pretty name, Ella Grace is super popular. Open to any suggestions! Thanks

  • DH and I also love the name Ella - that is one of the top three names for us if we were to have a little girl in the future! The MN we like with it is Katherine (and that is what we are planning on using) there are a few spellings we've tossed around:

    Ella Kathryn

    Ella Katherine

    Ella Katheryn

    Ella Catherine

    ...though I especially like it with a K :)

ETA: We would call her Ella Kate :)

  • If our LO was a girl she was going to be Ella Claire
  • The first thing that came to mind was Ella Morgan.

    Ella's a nice choice!?

  • Even though Ella Grace is popular I still love it and think it's a beautiful name.  I also think Ella Kathleen, Ella Elizabeth, or Ella Joy would be pretty.

  • I know an Ella Kate, and Ella Grace and an Ella Ruth.  We had picked Ella Jane or Ella Charlotte for our baby(ies) that we lost because all of the names are family names.
