Oh goodness gracious I will be 30 weeks prego exactly. Since it is a slow weekend board I will tell our story. My fiance and I met in Jluy 2008. He was the FedEx driver at my job and we got hooked up through my company's secretary! The plan for the past couple of years has been to get married but other huge things got in the way. In fact, he lost his job at FedEx where he was making a 6 figure salary...then took a job just to get by with a tree company, getting paid under the table by a family friend. Then the family friend runs his foot over with heavy machinery (a Bobcat front loader) and crushes 5 bones in his foot. The so called friend convinces my fiance that even though medical will be taken care of through workmans comp...not to tell them what $ he made or how long he worked there. He promised to take care of him and give him wages weekly. Well, after a few weeks he stopped paying and my fiance had already gone along with the story to the insurance co...so he got completely screwed and was receving 80 per week and could not even walk (they base pay on what you earn and family friend had told them he was working on a trial basis making $100 per week...he was making $750 per week and had been there over 1 month). Finally, he lost his house to foreclosure. Thankfully, I own my own condo so he moved in here with me. Since the house has not sold and there is a second loan holder...they call him every day for $36,000. The first loan obviously they don't call because they took the house. So, he is now ok and walks fine thank God. He works at PF Changs and makes decent enough while going to nursing school. I am so proud of him! Anyway, due to the 36k he owes, he will now have to file bankruptcy in order to get out from under that. It's crazy too cause he has no other debt to put on the bankruptcy but it's the only choice. He didn't want to drag me into the bankruptcy mess so we wanted to wait on marriage. Low and behold, we find out that LO is going to pop on the scene so we are wanting to get married but waiting for settlement from insurance company when they finally released him from care so he can file bankrupt. Thank goodness it is finally happening. I am going to be the fattest I have ever been in my life for my wedding day! Oh well, I still got a pretty dress, low key...and we are going to do it short and sweet in a beautiful park in downtown Charlotte then take a few family members to dinner with us. We are going to vacation for 3 nights in the Outer Banks NC and take our pooches with us. I hope I am not miserable!

Such a sweet story... sounds like you two have worked through quite a few ups and downs already.
I think your wedding plans sound wonderful, and memorable! Hope you have that perfect day you both deserve.
Sounds great! Congrats on finally moving forward! I'll be 35 wks!!! Imagine that! Have you found a dress? That was a real challenge for me!

Yes, it was a challenge but I found a gown (online, I ordered sight unseen) and now I cannot find a pic of it! It is driving me nuts! Apparently the designer / company that made it (Decode 1.8) is a UK based group??.. not sure but having difficulty finding the exact dress now as it sold it very quickly on Overstock.com where I got it. I will post pics after the day though. For a silk bodice, a little beading and chiffon flowy bottom (empire waisted of course) the price tag was incredible. It is perfect for my day. I just couldn't pass it up, and tried it on the other day just to make sure my boobs still fit!!! There were several options I was looking at through David's Bridal...more so the bridesmaid gowns in the blush, ivory and super light shades. I thought the slight hint of color made them look so romantic! You are going to be 35 weeks for your big day? I commend your braveness...not so much as far as body issues but to wait till so close until your LO is due! Don't get too frisky that night...lol
