Medela Storage Bags

Does anyone else find it really hard to empty the milk from Medela Storage Bags? I always end up spilling it because the milk shoot over the bottle, or runs back up the back side of the bag. I have about 180 oz frozen in them, so I need to figure out what I am doing wrong. I hate seeing any milk hit the counter! Grrrr.

  • I would just cut the top part off and pour into the bottle that way.

    Good idea!

I got so frustrated today - I had 2 oz frozen and lost about a quarter of it! So annoying.

  • I either cut part of the bag to pour it out neatly or I squeeze the bag together by the seams to make it open up wide enough to pour in.

  • I use the Lansinoh bags and never have that problem.  They are cheaper too.
