Semi bump break :-(

After a horrible flight I'm finally in Oregon. I made it to my grandpa's house, and the situation is SO incredibly worse than I imagined. The house is a total wreck, it reeks of cat/dog/human urine. My grandpa didn't recognize me at all, he doesn't have a clue who I am. I would really appreciate y'alls thoughts and prayers right now. We have ten days to organize an estate sale, get the house "ready" for market, find a nursing home AND move him into it. Then my mom and I HAVE to fly home. I'm going to try to be on here to support y'all as much as I can at moments of random down time. Please know that even if I'm not very active here for the next two weeks, I'm thinking of y'all and praying for sticky BFPs!*hugs all around*

    i am so sorry about your grandfather, i hope you find a good place for him, and hope his situation improves.

    good luck with all the work, it sounds like you are going to be very busy, and i wish you the best of luck with everything!

    I'll never forget the first time my grandma didn't recognize me.  It was heartbreaking.  One postive, though, her memory seems to go in and out...so there are times she just smiles blankly at me when she sees me...other days she knows exactly who I am and asks me about my life.  So, hopefully, one of these days while you're working on his home your grandpa will remember you...even if it's briefly.
