...the dreaded baby shower.  Thank God He gave me the peace I prayed for while getting ready, driving to the shower and right before I got out of the car. 

The worst of it all was when she was opening gifts and the hostess (who knows about my losses) says to another teacher who'll begin trying to get pg this summer, "Now Wendy, you're next!"

    maybe she didn't want to put you on the spot in front of everyone?  i hope it was her being considerate of your struggle, and not her being an assface

    You are so sweet for thinking positively.  I just think people don't think.  If I was to tell her that her comment hurt (which I wouldn't do at this point), she'd probably tell me that I need to get over it.  I love her...but she just doesn't think about my feelings.  KWIM?
