Do you get godmothers a gift for mother's day if they're not moms themselves?

yes, something very small.

i have given them a single rose in name of one of the kids or a tiny flower pot with a pack of seeds

I usually don't, but that's because her bday and Easter are right before.  So, if anything, we just gtg for lunch on Mother's day with all the moms.  Last year, we hosted a bbq for all the moms at our house (that included aunts, cousins... the whole fam).

I do, something small also.  Ours bakes cakes so I usually get her some baking related little gift and a card.
