Do you read? Watch tv? Bump? Stare into space? Give your DH dirty/jealous looks cause he's sleeping?
I watch a DVD of 7th Heaven during the 2 middle of the night feedings. I love love love that show and I have Seasons 1-9. I'm rewatching the series and each feeding takes about the length of one episode. Right now I'm still on Season 1. As much as I love 7th H, I hope Ava goes longer stretches before I finish the entire series.
Re: What do you do during those middle of night feedings?
When Toodle was little I would watch TV (usually old sitcoms like Three's Company, Golden Girls or whatever else was on at 2 or 5 am which were his usual feeding times) and play on my ipod touch (games, checking the Bump, FB, etc.)
ETA: And talk to DH since he was usually up to. When Toodle would cry, DH would get him unswaddled, change his diaper and give him to me, and then I would feed him, re-swaddle and put him back to sleep. Once we had to supplement (started at 2 weeks) DH would warm the bottle and bring it to me while I nursed.

When Caroline was still in our room, Steven would get up, get her and lay her in bed next to me...I'd pop a boob in her mouth and more often than not, I'd go back to sleep.
When she finished, or I woke up, I'd change her diaper, reswaddle her and put her back to bed.
When she moved to her room, I'd get up, change her diaper, nurse her for a few minutes, then put her back to bed. It took about 15-20 minutes and I never turned on the light....heck, I barely opened my eyes, lol.
When she was tiny and in our room, I'd get up, get her from the crib, plop into the glider and turn the lamp on, feed her while barely awake, change her diaper, then put her back in bed. She always pooped during feedings as a newborn, so I coul;d never change her before feeding her.
And I'd give DH jealous looks because the man can sleep through her screaming while she's 2 feet from his head. I don't know how. I wake up if she so much as coughs.
With DS I read mindless books that didn't require me to pay attention. I was afraid to watch tv and instead kept it quiet/ low light in his room, in hopes that it would help him go back to sleep easier.
Now with DD. . .I do nothing but concentrate on feeding her. She's so fussy that it really takes work to make sure she's sufficiently upright, not gagging, burping often enough, etc. For the following hour that she's awake she's screaming, so no point in turning on the tv, I couldn't hear it anyway
(Seems I'm having a pity party today - please cross your fingers that we find a solution to this soon!)
DH and I did them together with the twins, and we would just turn on a lamp and talk quietly.
