Has anybody seen "everybody's fine" NBR

It just came in our Netflix envelope and I didn't realize the beginning had the mom dying (this is on the envelope, so I don't think that's a spoiler).

Anyway, has anybody seen it? Is it gut wrenching? I don't watch "cry" movies, so I won't even watch it if it's sad (a la The Notebook, etc).

My dad died of cancer a few years ago and I pretty much can't handle sad movies anymore.
