Hi, all!
I went to a yard sale this morning and she had a LOT of baby stuff! I actually picked up a pack and play for $30 that was one of the ones we almost registered for... it'll be nice for my mom to have it at her house! I also picked up a few baby toys, but some of them are fabric and some of them are a combination of plastic and fabric.
My question is, what is the safest way to disinfect all this stuff? The stuff was VERY clean (cleaner than the used baby store in my town BY FAR) but I'd still like to disinfect it all. I don't want to throw everything in the machine because I'm afraid that it will melt some of the plastic parts. I did some googling and bleach is recommended but wouldn't that ruin the pretty colors of the stuff? It's mostly sassy and infantino toys with the little plastic rings and then fabric "crinkly" stuff, etc...
What do you recommend for cleaning it all? My husband is very concerned about germs....

Re: Used Baby Stuff? 2nd time moms?
this. plus the hot water from your machine shouldnt be hot enough to melt plastic.
This.
But be careful if your dishwasher has a heat dry. That does get hot enough to melt plastic!
