How did your telephone conference with an RI go?

Other than getting pushed from 11:45 to 5:30, it went well.  We went through my history and treatments and he thinks autoimmune issues are likely the reason things haven't worked for us.  So, the plan is to do a bunch of b/w.  He will check to see if I am on the right dosage of Lovenox, Humira is helping or over-suppressing my tnf-alpha, I should remain on intralipids.  He thinks that my treatments in the past are disjointed because I haven't had follow-up b/w to see how they are affecting things.  So, we will start with a bunch of blood work.

The one hiccup is that he knows my RE and is pretty sure my RE will not allow him to jointly manage my IVF cycle.  So, I will likely have to receive my immune treatment on the side.  I'm not sure exactly how this is going to work.  But, I guess it isn't something I can worry about until I know what the RI's recommendations are going to be.

I am glad it went well.  Hopefully your RE will see the "light" and change his mind about working with your RI.  Since it is about you and getting a sticky BFP!!!

I am still doing research on this new protocol my RE recommended for my next IVF.  It's all related to RPL and ID and I don't have either, so it's hard for me to wrap my head around it.  From what my IVF nurse's and another RE have explained to me, since my next IVF is our "last", my main RE wants to do anything and everything for me...which I am ok with, but still makes me nervous.

I am staying on the same protocol for stimming as my last cycle (long lupron, gonal, menopur), but he wants to add lovenox, intralipids and HCG injections.

Did they do any testing before adding the Lovenox and intralipids?  My understanding is that HCG is sometimes used to get your body to produce more progesterone.  

I'm doing long lupron again this time.  I will also be doing Lovenox.  I'm scheduled for intralipids, but whether I do them will depend on what the IR says.

I have had all the testing, everything is normal. 

My P4 was very low when I got my BFP, so I can understand the HCG this time around, oh and he is also adding in PIO (never used it before, only Crinone) and pairing it with Crinone too.

I will do whatever my RE wants me to do, just all the new meds (lovenox, intralipids, PIO, etc...) make me nervous.  I'll get over it, lol.
