Could be a stupid question but???

I have a 2 week old, we have been pumping and with LC help started breast feeding on Wednesday.  I now have blisters on my nipple, I know from bad latching, should I continue to pump/feed on that side, or let the blisters heal? Thanks in advance.

you need to continue using that side, whether it's for bf or pumping. no action there will tell your body to stop producing milk

Do you think the blisters are from a bad latch or from pumping?  It could be that pump flanges are not big enough.  Yes you still need to pump/nurse from that side.  Otherwise your supply will be affected.

that too - about the size.

use lanolin (is that the cream) while you pump - it'll help.

Thanks everyone!  The blisters are along the center so I'm pretty sure it's bad latching.
